MUNGIAKAMI, Aug 17 (TIWN): The Mungiakami police station has scored a significant victory in its fight against narcotics, seizing approximately 134 kilograms of dry ganja valued at over two million rupees. The operation was carried out at the 41-mile checkpoint under the leadership of OC Sones Debbarma, based on specific intelligence inputs.

During the operation, police intercepted a small goods vehicle bearing registration number TR 01 AY 1579 and confiscated 67 packets of ganja. The driver of the vehicle was also apprehended. This successful operation is part of a series of anti-narcotics drives conducted under OC Debbarma's leadership, setting a notable example in the sub-division area.
