AGARTALA, Aug 17 (TIWN): Road accidents are killing thousands of lives in the state. In such a tragic incident, a newly married couple travelled from Khowai to Kashba Kalibari in a scooty died after hit by an Eeco car. Dibakar Ghosh and his wife Priyanka Ghosh went to Kashba Kalibari temple to offer prayers but they never returned home alive as a road accident killed their lives. The accident happened in Gokulnagar, Bishalgarh when the couple was returning after completing their prayers at the temple.
Dibakar’s devastated mother who was lamenting over her unrepairable loss, said, “I told him not to go in scooty. I asked him to reserve a car but he did not listen to me.”
Dibakar Ghosh did not listen to her mother, who warned him not to travel on scooty.
“I will die too. How can I live without my son. I don’t have a daughter. My daughter-in-law was like my daughter. Both are gone. How would I live?” she said.
Dibakar Ghosh and Priyanka Ghosh were both young engineers, and Dibakar was appointed at Tripura Gramin Bank.
