AGARTALA, Aug 14 (TIWN): The “unemployment” issue itself has turned into a cancer-like situation in the state of Tripura, especially in the health sector where recruitment in permanent posts has drastically decreased. In a walk-in interview, organized for a few posts at the Cancer hospital, over 500 unemployed youths gathered on Thursday morning. The job aspirants complained that the management has been very poor, forcing the candidates to stand outside in lines for hours and hours to wait for their names to be called.
“Initially, they collected our documents, and till then it was okay, and now they have started calling the candidates, but due to noise, the names can’t be heard properly,” said a candidate.
While being asked if the unemployment problem is increasing in Tripura, the job-seeker replied, “I think the unemployment problem right now is high, because the job sources have been limited in this country.” In other words, due to a lack of vacancies, the unemployment issue is surging.
WATCH : For 6 posts, over 500 candidates gathered at Cancer Hospital for job interviews.
"In the interview, out of 6 MTS posts, one post is for SC, two for ST, and others for UR, as per my knowledge,” said another job aspirant.
