AGARTALA, Aug 11 (TIWN): On the eve of Independence Day, the Tripura government is set to honor 14 police officers and personnel with the Chief Minister's Medal for their outstanding contributions in various fields. DIG Krishendu Chakraborty, IPS, will receive the medal for his notable work in intelligence. The award ceremony will recognize the exceptional service and dedication of these officers in maintaining law and order, promoting community policing, and achieving excellence in their respective roles. This prestigious honor reflects the government's appreciation for their hard work and commitment to public service.

Jay Prakash Yadav: 3rd Battalion TSR, for innovative methods in police training
Sankar Rudra Pal: SI (AB) at KTDS Police Training Academy, for innovative training methods
Debajit Bhattacharjee: SI (UB), for intelligence collection
Rakesh Debbarma: Naib Subedar, 13th Battalion TSR, for role in armed battalion operations
Mouchaity Debnath: Woman Constable, for achievements in national-level sports
Suman Ulla Kazi: Inspector (UB), Special Branch, for investigating sensational and heinous crimes
Madhabi Debbarma: Woman Inspector (UB), Gomati District, for work in high-profile cases
