Agartala, Aug 8 (TIWN): The 48th ward of Agartala Municipal Corporation's South Zone is grappling with a severe garbage crisis.
Residents and passersby are struggling to cope with the overwhelming stench emanating from heaps of trash in the area, particularly near the Hanpania parking zone.
Despite the dire situation, 48th Ward Councilor Sabita Kar seems to be unresponsive to the issue, with locals expressing frustration over the lack of attention to their concerns. The area's condition has become a stark contrast to the vision of a "Smart City" that Agartala aims to be.
