SABROOM, Aug 3 (TIWN): A disturbing incident of domestic violence has come to light in Sabroom, where a husband allegedly beat his wife severely, leaving her seriously injured. The incident occurred at around 1:30 am, and the victim, Namita Tripura, was admitted to Sabroom Hospital.
According to reports, Shyamal Munda, the husband, beat Namita mercilessly, along with his mother, and tied her up with a rope. Namita's family members, who live nearby, received information about the incident and rushed to the scene. They rescued Namita and took her to Sabroom Hospital for treatment.
A written complaint has been filed with the Sabroom Police Station against Shyamal Munda and his mother. The police are investigating the matter, and action will be taken according to the law. The incident has raised concerns about domestic violence in the region.
