AGARTALA, July 17 (TIWN): Patient parties were seen waiting for hours at GB hospital on Thursday at the X-ray center. Many patients came from far away at a very early morning and were left frustrated with patients left on a trolley till 3 AM.

"I came from Bishalgarh at 7 AM, and now it's 3 AM. I am waiting for my family member's X-ray for last four hours. It looks like more 2 hours it will take for me to get into the X-ray center. Then, there seems to be no option to check with the Doctor," said a patient party.

"This is double-engine government, but the service is so poor here," he said.

"I don't feel like I am in a hospital. You can not call it a hospital at all," said a woman who was accompanying her family member admitted to GB hospital.

"No fan, no basic facility, no place to sit....how the patients would stay here for so long," she asked, adding, "Nobody comes to the hospital with a stable body, right? So there should be proper infrastructure for patients' comfort."
