AGARTALA, July 17 (TIWN): IPFT party’s sole cabinet Minister Sukla Charan Noatia on Thursday said that IPFT’s organizational strength is now better than 2021 and the party is expecting a great outcome in 2026 ADC election. IPFT held a meeting at Agartala Press Club chaired by IPFT top leaders, as part of preparations for next year’s election. Addressing media, Minister Sukla Charan Noatia said, “In 2021 due to organizational weaknesses, IPFT’s results in ADC election were totally unexpected, but now the party is on a much better step.”
Noatia stated that many people who quit IPFT party at that time are now returning.
BJP party also organized a parallel meeting at the state guest house, where Chief Minister Manik Saha indeed took IPFT’s name first instead of Tipra Motha. Both parties are BJP’s alliance partners and share cabinet ministers’ positions.
