Jirania, July 14 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Monday visited Jirania subdivision, met the locals at the Belbari RD Block community as a part of “Dharti Aaba Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan.” Talking to the media, Dr. Manik Saha said, Tripura has been focusing on accomplishing various important missions so that the last person of the society can be reached out to distribute the benefits. “Earlier, people had to roam from office to office, and now it’s time when the office comes to you,” said CM.

“Nobody thought of the benefit of the people who are living in the backward places and communities. But since Prime Minister Modi took charge, especially since he became Prime Minister in 2014, we have noticed one after another schemes were launched for the welfare of the people,” Dr. Saha said. “The Jana-jati people were especially benefited due to his schemes.”

“Only announcement is not enough, but there should be a saturation point. Earlier, only 3% water accessibility existed in the tribal areas, and now it’s over 85% which has been covered with pipeline water,” he added.

“From electricity services to ST certificates --- we are working to fulfill all the  necessary things for the people,” he said, adding, “This scheme will continue for five years, and it’s expected that fruitful results will come out.”

“We started house-to-house Sushashan…. And now other works are going on, and that includes this Dharti Aaba Jan Bhagidari scheme,” he added.
