AGARTALA, July 14 (TIWN): Police on Monday arrested a group of Trinamool party agitators protesting against Smart meters in the state of Tripura.

The Trinamool party agitators cited how Mamata Banerjee ruled West Bengal, has decided not to allow Smart meters, whereas in Tripura, the government is least bothered about public issues.

The agitators sat in front of Ratan Lal Nath's home, raised slogans by blocking the route.

Soon after the protest started, police rushed to the spot and arrested all the protesters to disperse the gathering there.
