Khowai, July 12 (TIWN) : In a significant breakthrough, the Biazal Bari police have apprehended two Bangladeshi nationals, Khokon Sarkar and Anik Sarkar, in the Belphang area of Khowai. The incident occurred on Friday evening when a routine check was conducted on an auto-rickshaw traveling from Mohanpur to Khowai.

During the interrogation, the two passengers revealed that they were Bangladeshi citizens. The police have taken them into custody and are currently questioning them at the police station.

The arrest was made possible when the auto-rickshaw was stopped at the Naka point in Belphang, and the police found the two individuals suspicious. Further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding their presence in the area.
