The delegation, led by local MLA Islam Uddin and CPI(M) leaders Jahurul Haque and Haripada Goswami, met with Senior Manager Dipayan Das to submit a 5-point demand letter.

 

The demands include improvement in electricity services, resolution of excess billing issues, transparency in meter reading, and enhancement of customer service standards. The CPI(M) leaders emphasized that these demands are crucial for the welfare of the general public and urged the administration to take immediate action.

 

If the demands are not addressed, the CPI(M) warned that it would be forced to launch a larger mass movement to press for the rights of the people. The party's leaders expressed their commitment to fighting for the rights of the people and ensuring that the electricity department serves the public interest.
