Sonamura, July 7 (TIWN): Students of Uttar Durlabhpur High School and Bejimar High School in Sonamura subdivision staged simultaneous road blockades in protest against the transfer of teachers. The protests, which took place on the same day at two different locations, brought attention to the concerns of the students and the impact of teacher transfers on their education.
At Uttar Durlabhpur High School, students braved the rain to block the Sonamura-Rajnagar road, demanding that the transferred teachers be brought back to the school. The students alleged that the transfer of teachers was disrupting their education and affecting their academic performance.
Similarly, students of Bejimar High School blocked the Sonamura-Bilonia road, demanding the return of two transferred teachers. The students claimed that the transfer of teachers was affecting their studies, and they were forced to take to the roads to protest.
The blockades were eventually lifted after the intervention of the School Inspector, Sonamura, Brajalal Debbarma, and the Block School Inspector, Shambhu Charan Debbarma. The authorities assured the students that their problems would be resolved soon, and the students were convinced by their assurance.
