AGARTALA, July 5 (TIWN): Tipra Motha party on Saturday announced it will resign from the coalition government in Tripura, and BJP MP Kriti Singh is also all set to resign from the BJP party. Tipra Motha party said, this dissident move will be taken by her in support of Tipra Motha party, which is protesting and demanding the implementation of the central government’s notification to remove illegal foreigners. The Tipra Motha party will also organize a protest rally on July 7 in this regard which the party claimed will not be a political rally.
Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Debbarma will also attend the rally.
“We have seen all states have implemented the Central Government’s notification and formed taskforces, but only Tripura Government is not taking any action,” said Ranjit Debbarma, Tipra Motha MLA.
“We have already talked about this. It is all set that we are stepping down from the alliance. We also talked to Kriti Singh, and she has also agreed to resign,” said Debbarma.
