Teliamura, July 3 (TIWN): The Teliamura Police Station has apprehended three women from outside the state for allegedly smuggling over 15 kg of dried ganja, valued at over Rs 1 lakh. The women were traveling in a maxi cab from Agartala to Ambassa when they were intercepted during a vehicle check.

A case has been registered under the NDPS Act, and an investigation is underway to uncover the smuggling network.

The women are currently in custody, and the police are working to identify the masterminds behind the smuggling operation. This successful bust highlights the Tripura Police's efforts to curb narcotics smuggling in the state.
