Agartala, July 2 (TIWN): A controversy erupted at Ritvika Medical Hall in Lal Bahadur Chowmuhani after a patient's family members alleged that expired injections were administered to their loved one.
Rupita De, a resident of Math Chowmuhani area, received the injections at the medical hall, sparking concerns about patient safety.
According to Rupita's husband, Saurav De, the expired injection vial was discovered after it was administered, prompting him to file a complaint with the police. The vial in question had an expiration date of March 2025.
Saurav De expressed his outrage, stating that the incident could have had severe consequences for his wife's health. The police are expected to take action in the matter. The incident raises questions about the medical hall's quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
