According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when Partha was sleeping near a clothing store in Kushbagan. Bhanu allegedly approached him, demanded money, and stabbed him in the neck with a knife when he refused to comply. The attacker then fled the scene, leaving Partha bleeding.

 

Prompt action by the police and fire services ensured that Partha received timely medical attention. He was rushed to the IGM Hospital and later referred to the GB Hospital due to the severity of his injuries. Partha is currently undergoing treatment at the GB Hospital.

 

The police have taken swift action, arresting Bhanu Debnath in connection with the incident. A case has been registered under sections 118(2)/109 of the BNS, and the investigation is ongoing. The authorities are working to ensure that justice is served and that the perpetrator is held accountable for his actions.
