The arrests were made based on a tip-off, and the police seized brown sugar, mobiles, one scooty, and one bike from the accused.

 

According to SDPO Deba Prasad Roy, the police have been conducting anti-drug operations in different parts of Agartala, and this operation is a part of their ongoing efforts to combat substance abuse and related crimes in the region. The accused individuals were booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act 1985.

 

 

The police will produce the accused before the court for police remand to facilitate further investigation.
