AGARTALA, June 29 (TIWN): Police arrested a drug peddler on Sunday with brown sugar in Kailashahar.

Based on secret information, Kailashahar police raided Kacharghat area and arrested one person.

Police also seized a huge quantity of brown sugar from an auto.

The auto bearing number TR-02C-3894 was seized by police. A total of 10 grams of brown sugar was seized by police, whose market value would be over Rs. 60,000.

Arrested driver Govinda Chanda was produced before the court followed by taken into custody for further investigation.
