Lord Jagannath, along with his siblings Balram and Subhadra, has proceeded to his aunt's house, known as "Masir Bari," riding on a chariot. The Jagannath temple in Melaghar resonated with the sounds of bells, cymbals, and devotional instruments as the festivities began.

 

The chariot procession was initiated when District Magistrate Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal and his mother pulled the chariot's rope, marking the beginning of the festivities. The event drew devotees from various parts of Sonamura, who gathered to witness the majestic procession and seek blessings from the deities.
