Agartala, June 27 (TIWN): A jaundice outbreak has affected over 70 people in the Masterpara area of Bardowali, reportedly due to poor water quality. In response, the Bardowali Block Congress members submitted a deputation to the DWS Executive Engineer, urging immediate action to repair pipe leakages and purify the water supply.

The Congress members emphasized the need for prompt measures to prevent further spread of the disease.

The authorities have been asked to take necessary steps to ensure safe drinking water for the residents of Masterpara.
