AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): Drugs were seized from BMS West District General Secretary Rajib Bhanik’s scooty on Thursday. According to information, the BMS leader Rajib Banik today morning organized an attack on BMS bus association leader, and based on a complaint, police arrested him. During raids, police reportedly found Ganja packets and brown sugar from his scooty.

"Rajib Banik is disturbing the motorstand and polluting the BMS office environment for the last six months. Many times we requested him to stop all those illegal things but he continued," said a vehicle worker.

"He always used this scooty without a numberplate and indulged in drug peddling. Today, police and the vehicle workers in front of everyone seized the drugs," he added.

Another driver told the media that many times they asked him to stop all these activities, considering it's CM Dr. Manik Saha's constituency.

"He even talked badly about the CM. We did not want to say all these, but we are forced to expose him today," he said.
