AGARTALA, June 25 (TIWN): Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman on Wednesday lodged an FIR against a few BJP activists, alleging they attacked his residence.
BJP supporters staged a protest at the MLA’s residence, accusing him of insulting the tribal community.
Barman in the FIR complained that the agitators damaged some equipment and also pelted stones at his home.
A specific case was registered against BJP member Bipin Debbarma, resident of Agartala near Krishnanagar Satsangha Asram.
