He said that in Tripura, 1993 like situation would erupt when the Left Front came with massive mandate of the people.

“What people will do. At a point, it touches the wall at the back and then people are forced to revolt. Tripura will also see same consequences,” he said.

Chowdhury also mentioned 1975’s emergency in India recalling what happened to the then government.
