AGARTALA, June 20 (TIWN): Lack of modernization of Post Offices has put police in trouble to trace the criminal who left packets of Ganja at Agartala Post Office for parceling.
As post offices do not verify the IDs, such attempts are often taken.
It was understood that the parcel was targeted to be sent to Kolkata and the sender’s address was shown in Ranir Bazar, which is likely a fake address.
This is not the first time that such incidents have been reported, but earlier also Ganja cartons were also seized from the same post office.
It’s not sure if the post office could record the culprit on CCTV or not.
Police started an investigation to identify the man/woman involved in this incident.
