AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): Suspected Myanmar citizens have been arrested in Tripura.

There were a total of five persons, including a child, among the arrestees.

Police said, based on secret information, police raided Lalchari area and held them.

During interrogation, the detained persons accepted that they came from Myanmar and were not citizens of India.

Myanmar passports, documents were also seized from them.
