AGARTALA, April 30 (TIWN): BJP led Tripura Govt headed by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has declared to add more 4,458 new social media pension beneficiaries. Social Welfare Minister Tinku Roy on Monday announced this, inviting applications from the deserving beneficiaries.Roy said, “First priority will be given to the Antodyoy families, then BPL families and also the widows, helpless women of the society.” “Please come and submit your application in the CDPO office,” he said. On being asked, why so many social pension beneficiaries were cut of social pensions since BJP Govt came to power in 2018, in response, Tinku Roy said, “Every time whenever I have a press meet, journalists ask me the question ; so via you I want to appeal to the people, if any of you have been deprived of social pension come to the CDPO office and fix the issue.”
