AGARTALA, April 27 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha slammed the pro-Pak terror organizations who organized the Kashmir terror attack which the CM said was an attack on Kashmir economy. “This is not at all a Hindu-Muslim issue. It was to ruin the rising economy of Kashmir. People of Kashmir were happy as the Economy was rising high,” said Tripura CM, referring April 22’s deadly attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam, killing at least 26 people.
“For decades, Kashmir witnessed terrorism. Stone pelters were everywhere working for the organizations, and now nobody has an interest in stone pelting and violence there. People there were focussing on livelihood. After 370 Act was removed from Kashmir, economy boomed there,” added CM.
“The youth who were used for violence by the terror organizations, are busy with livelihoods, and terrorists understood the fact. That’s why they (terrorists) did this to ruin the economy there by this heinous act. Because the terrorists are now not getting the youth of Kashmir for stone pelting because of the rising economy, and that’s why they did it,” said CM.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Saturday was addressing a gathering at Kamalghat, Booth No-17 after Prime Minister Modi’s Mann-Ki-Baat telecast, when he said so.
The CM further said, “Today under Prime Minister Modi, peace has been restored in India.”
“What was India before 2014, and what is India today? We must think about it,” said CM.
“From the Mumbai attack to the attack on the parliament, what did India not see before 2014 but today that peaceful situation is gone,” said CM.
He further mentioned about Northeast policy claiming heavy development came in this region because of PM Modi’s vision.
