AGARTALA, April 21 (TIWN): A BSF jawan shot himself on Monday in Maharani, Udaipur.

The injured jawan has been identified as Manikunda.

After the incident, he was rushed to Natun Bazar Hospital. The doctor there referred him to the Gomati District Hospital for better treatment.

Seeing his condition serious, the on-duty doctor at the Gomati District hospital referred him to the Agartala GB hospital.

The bullet injury was spotted on the left side of the chest.

The reason behind the jawan’s suicide attempt could not be known yet.
