AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN): Tripura has received its first locomotive electric vehicle which reached on Thursday at Jirania Railway station.

The train started its journey on February 5 from Badarpur railway station with 21 wagons and reached on Thursday, February 6.

Before the journey, a successful trial run was completed by NFR.

After the good trains' launching, now Railway administration is looking forward to starting passenger train services in the Northeast region.
