CHARILAM, Jan 27 (TIWN): A high-voltage electric wire fell on the ground from an electric poll in Charilam.

This incident in Charilam Market near the Gramin Bank narrowly escaped any major accident.

Power department workers rushed to the spot after the incident and started to repair it.

The officials who visited the spot included Bishramganj Electric sub-division manager Baithun Debbarma.

A makeshift repair was made by reattaching the wire to the poll, but the temporary fix has done little to alleviate concerns.
