AGARTALA, February 6 (TIWN): The Political parties here in Tripura have started campaigning for the autonomous district council (ADC) elections making an attack on the BJP govt. ahead of the election for making a remark “North East immigrantsâ€. The ADC elections are scheduled between the last week of April and the first week of May. As part of the preparations, when the Tripura CPI(M) is organising conferences of its lower units in the run-up to its 21st state conference in February 2015, the Pradesh here in Tripura has also geared up for the ADC election with the Congress Chief Birajit Sinha busy reforming the party from the grass root level.
The newly reshuffled Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee has geared up for the upcoming ADC election scheduled to be held on the month of May or the last week of April. TPCC President Birajit Sinha has visited the South and the North district of the state ahead of the poll. But a section of the leaders of main opposition party of Tripura- Congress are reportedly busy in internal war with no election strategy.
