The incident happened in the Khamting Bari area, Jirania. A huge number of police personnel were deployed on the spot after the incident.

The injured person Siddhesh Roy is a resident of Khowai, Brindaban Ghat area who was on his way to Guwahati via Agartala in his truck bearing no-AS01RC7923.

Another vehicle from Guwahati to Agartala bearing number AS01RC7923 was coming from the opposite direction and both trucks were facing each other.

To give each other side one of the trucks hit a bike bearing number TR01AM6471 causing damage to the bike.

Police have arrested a truck driver Amit Kumar.
