KADAMTALA, Oct 15 (TIWN): A 40-year-old housewife named Ratna Telenga was brutally tortured by her husband Birju Telenga.

She was rushed to Kadamtala Health Center and from there she was referred to Dharmanagar hospital.

Police have arrested the accused husband Birju Telenga.

The incident happened in Ranibari village panchayat’s Piyarachara, Ward No-3 in Kadamtala.

Birju Tripura was in drunk condition when he beat up his wife. Earlier also, he beat up his wife many times.
