Administration takes tight control over noise pollution ahead of Lakshmi Puja

AGARTALA, Oct 15 (TIWN): Sadar administration raided various shops in Agartala ahead of the upcoming Lakshmi puja to check for any noise pollution chances that can happen due to sales of sound crackers.
Bipul Das, Additional SP said any cracker that goes beyond 90 decimal within 5 meters violate the pollution board’s guidelines.
Those who violated the law, accordingly, actions are being taken.
Lakshmi puja is to be celebrated on Wednesday.
