AGARTALA, Oct 6 (TIWN): All Tripura NGO ST Boarding Welfare Trust on Sunday organized a rally in Agartala thanking the Tripura Government for increasing the stipend of ST students.

The annual stipend has been given in the name of Dr. BR Ambedkar for decades which was Rs. 400.

After 7 years of BJP rule, the government has increased the stipend to Rs. 1000.

All Tripura NGO ST Boarding Welfare Trust thanked the Tripura Govt for organizing this rally. Slogans were raised from the rally, “Manik Saha jindabad, Bikash Debbarma jindabad.”
