“Remaining Accused persons have been arrested today in connection with the incident involving a Traffic Policeman. Investigation is in progress,” West Tripura District posted on Facebook.

Dip Datta along with his two friends were roaming on scooty without any helmet and when police asked, they threatened the official and used extremely rude, abusive words against the official. When another traffic official tried to stop them, they threatened him too.

Netizens came with sharp reactions against the incident. After the video was made viral, now three of the accused are arrested.

It can be mentioned here, Congress party members who staged a protest at the SDPO office yesterday, alleged they belong to BJP’s infamous bike-gang who were engaged multiple times to vandalize opposition programs and attack voters ahead of election.
