AGARTALA, Sep 28 (TIWN): With the increasing kidney diseases in Tripura, crisis of slot availability is on rise in the state. TMC Hospital, despite its higher charges, remains the top choice for those who can afford private hospital costs. Although TMC charges are higher still rush remains at upper level forcing the patient parties to choose other private hospitals which are costlier. But now, the scenario might change as first time in the hospital 30 patients can be provided dialysis services at a time.
With this, TMC has now become the largest capacity dialysis center in the Northeast.
This new service was launched with the collaboration of TMC and e-Age health care.
“It’s the highest capacity dialysis service center in the Northeast. We are not sure if such a larger space is available in Kolkata’s any big hospital or not,” said e-Age health care official.
However, the official also said, the prices of treatment would be very reasonable and people can easily afford.
