AGARTALA, Aug 25 (TIWN): West Agartala Police arrested five Bangladeshi citizens, who entered India via Tripura illegally with the help of Indian brokers. West Agartala PS OC-Paritosh Das said police are now trying to figure out the motive behind the illegal intruders' arrival and to find out who helped them enter Tripura via borders. A case was registered against the five arrested people - 102/2024, U/S 61clause 2, 249 B, 143 clause 3 of BNSS and Section 41, clause 1, clause A & C of the Foreigner Act.
The officer in charge said each of them was a resident of Chapai Nawabganj, Rajshahi in Bangladesh.
The arrested persons are --- Sohel Rana, Rulmal Ali, Hamim Ali, Litan Ali, and Selim Riaz.
