A middle-aged man Tapan Nama died after flood water drowned him in Ramchara area in Bishalgarh.

According to the family, Tapan Nama was trying to catch fish to feed his family which had been suffering due to flood but he drowned after heavy water-flow thrashed him.

Family members alleged that the SDM office was immediately informed about the matter but nobody took any action as it was nighttime and said they would search in the morning. This morning locals found him dead. Fire brigade staff recovered his body.
