AGARTALA, Aug 12 (TIWN): A young man was arrested with brown sugar from Radhanagar area in Agartala. The arrested youth Biplab Banik, is a resident of Radhanagar. Talking to media, West Agartala PS OC-Paritosh Das said, “We got the lead from the SDPO that a boy on a bike was selling drugs. Based on the information, we raided the area and caught Biplab Banik. We arrested Biplab Banik and his bike has also been seized.”

2.7 KG with 135 containers were seized from him.

Police registered a case - 96/202,  U/S-21A, 25, 29 of NDPS.

Police informed that more five persons are involved in his network – Safik Mia, Bapan Saha, Rohan and Amaan.

The matter is now under investigation. He was forwarded to the Court.
