SABROOM, July 28 (TIWN): Sand-carrying workers staged a protest in Srinagar on Sunday voicing against the unethical imposition of sand rates.

It is known that Deepen Debbarma of Gabardi Harikant Para under Srinagar police station has got a license for the sand wharf.

The workers recently went to buy sand from him. But he is imposing prices as per his wishes on the supply of sand. The workers and drivers have joined in protest.
