AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): Tension erupted in various parts of Tripura ahead of Panchayat polls. In some places, Congress workers were attacked and clashes erupted with BJP. Centering all these incidents, Congress State President Asish Saha met DGP at the police headquarter on Friday, urging him to take the law and order in control. In Bishalgarh Titu Ahmed’s home was attacked by miscreants. In a separate clash, three BJP workers were injured. Congress party office in Bishalgarh was vandalized and Congress accused BJP of the attack.
