Due to the suspension of cleaning work at Dharmanagar railway station since June 18, the station’s toilets are in bad condition added by unhygienic conditions everywhere.

Garbage is scattered around the station.

It is reported that from November 2022 to March 2024, the contractual cleaning workers did not receive any salary for a total of eight months forcing them to go on strike. As a result, common passengers are the worst sufferers.
