AGARTALA, June 21 (TIWN): The overflowing water-logging problems are turning worse in Agartala every year with heavy water-logging experienced on Friday followed by few hours raining. Public underwent huge troubles during office hours to pass through the water-logged areas. Heavy rainfall across Agartala city and suburban areas has hit the normal life, disrupting road traffic. Orient Chowmuhani area has been water-logged for the longest times, almost paralyzing the route.
Office goers and school goers had to deal with traffic jams and diversions on several routes as the regular route was logged with water.
Several businesses shopping centers were closed, while some were threatened by rain water.
The sense of disgust increased with drain water continued to flow with their garbage mixed with the rain water.
