AGARTALA, June 20 (TIWN): Due to lack of repair for 4 years, the brick-ceiling road from Mandal Para to Sabuj Sangh in Ward No. 5 of West Bamutia Gram Panchayat under Bamutia Block remained in a dilapidated condition.

Various parts of the road have collapsed at various places and as a result, major accidents can happen at any time.

The locals are demanding construction of side walls along with road repairs.

It is known that even though the local Panchayat Pradhan member informed by the public several times, nothing has been done.

Currently the road has become a death trap, especially for children to go to school.

Vehicles do not want to enter this area even in case of emergency. Public demanded immediate repairing of the road.
