KAILASHAHAR, June 20 (TIWN): The road leading to Kalachhara SB School under Deorachhra ADC Village in Kailashahar is currently almost closed due to landslides.

It is known that during the last two or three days of excessive rainfall, the soil of the hill collapsed and went down. As a result, the road has been closed.

Due to the closure of the road, school students and teachers are not able to travel through this road. Even the materials for the mid-day meal allotted to the students, these have to be carried from long distances on foot. Teachers have to leave their vehicles far away and walk to school.

The people of the area themselves tried to remove some of the soil on their initiative but later local administration took the control to fix the road. Public demanded a permanent solution of the issue.
