AGARTALA, June 18 (TIWN): The CPI-M party on Tuesday staged protest in front of Police headquarters against ongoing attacks on opposition party families.
CPI-M agitators said, that in Jirania, Amtali, and Shibnagar areas heavy attacks took place by BJP miscreants and many families have been threatened since the election result was declared.
CPI-M expressed disappointment over the role of police to control such crimes and to arrest the culprits.
