UDAIPUR, June 17 (TIWN): A 15 year old minor girl was allegedly abducted from Jamjuri, Murapara of Udaipur subdivision by Praloy Ghosh (22), son of Pradeep Ghosh, a resident of Garjanmura under Kakraban PS on June 11. Today, police have arrested him and also rescued the minor girl.

According to police, a case was filed by the minor girls’ family at the Kakraban PS against Pralay Ghosh with charges of kidnapping.

During the investigation, the police came to know that Praloy Ghosh was staying with the minor girl in a hotel under Kadugodi Police Station, Bangaluru.

Officer-in-charge Raju Bhowmik of Gomti District Kakraban PS, DSP Namit Pathak, Additional SP Sauvik Dey with the help of District Police Administration, communicated with Kadugodi PS of Bangaluru and conducted a joint operation and managed to rescue the abductor Pralay Ghosh and the minor girl.

The minor girl was handed over to her family.
