AGARTALA, June 11 (TIWN): The only water source of the school is a well, and no water supply has reached the village forcing the kids to have cooked meals with the well’s water. The cook at Dasgariya Anganwari Center said the institution is plagued with various problems. From class rooms to basic infrustructure, the shool has been undergoing a tremendous crisis for a long time. There is no drinking water system at all and even after appealing to the higher authority no solution came out. As there is no other water supply in the school, so the well is the only option to collect water for cooking. Despite writing to the concerned department several times, nothing has been done to improve the condition.

In this regard, Sarala Debbarma, a worker of Dasgaria Anganwari center under Hejamara ICDS, told the media that the children's food is being cooked in well water and apart from water issues, there are a lot of problems that the school is going through.
